SUTTON BRAVES

1963 - 1990

The Sutton Braves were founded in 1963. They have appeared in the National playoffs three times: In 1968 and 1975 they lost in the semi finals to Hull Aces and Liverpool Tigers respectively, then in 1989 they reached their only National final, losing to league rivals Enfield Spartans 15-9.

In 1991 they amalgamated with Barnes Barnstormers to form the London Athletics, who the following year became the Warriors.
