SUTTON BRAVES

1963 - 1990

The Sutton Braves were founded in 1963. They won the Southern League in 1968 but lost to Hull Aces in the National playoffs semi finals. In 1989 the Braves reached their only National final, losing to League rivals Enfield Spartans 15-9.

In 1991 they amalgamated with Barnes Barnstormers to form the London Athletics, who the following year became the Warriors.
